Care and Support Worker

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Supporting clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Assisting with medication administration, following prescribed guidelines and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, their families, and other care professionals.
• Supporting clients with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
• Ensuring that all care and support is provided in accordance with policies and procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Encouraging and supporting clients in participating in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and their families.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
