Job purpose:
- To enable customers to lead as active and independent as possible by providing holistic and personal care.
- To promote choice to customers in their daily living by providing care which meets CQC fundamental standards and supports happy living.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing person centred care and support as identified in the care plan.
- Assisting in keeping the location clean and safe for customers.
- Maintaining and completing accurate documentation of all care and support undertaken.
- Enriching wellbeing of customers by assisting in social activities.
- Responding to emergency call system and dealing with any emergencies as and when they arise.
- Undertaking key worker duties, building relationships with customers, families and professionals.
Requirements:
- Care level 2 diploma.
- A commitment and passion to provide high quality person centred care.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Ability to prioritise and plan around customer needs.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
