Care Assistant

Job purpose:

• To enable customers to lead as active and independent as possible by providing holistic and personal care.
• To promote choice to customers in their daily living by providing care which meets CQC fundamental standards and supports happy living.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing person centred care and support as identified in the care plan.
• Assisting in keeping the location clean and safe for customers.
• Maintaining and completing accurate documentation of all care and support undertaken.
• Enriching wellbeing of customers by assisting in social activities.
• Responding to emergency call system and dealing with any emergencies as and when they arise.
• Undertaking key worker duties, building relationships with customers, families and professionals.

Requirements:

• Care level 2 diploma.
• A commitment and passion to provide high quality person centred care.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Ability to prioritise and plan around customer needs.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
