We are seeking a caring and reliable Female Domiciliary Care Worker to provide person-centred support to clients in Didcot. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, and promoting their independence.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Administering or assisting with medication following appropriate training.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities if required.
- Recording and reporting on client health and well-being, noting any changes or concerns.
- Complying with care plans and organizational policies to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
