Housing Manager - Band 3

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Housing Management Officer to work collaboratively with colleagues at the Customer Service Centre (CSC) and within your region to ensure that customers receive seamless and high-quality service. This role requires visiting customers as needed and making informed decisions to deliver effective housing management services while carrying out other related tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Customer Service Centre (CSC) colleagues and regional teams to provide excellent service.
  • Conduct customer visits as required, assessing needs and determining the best course of action.
  • Carry out generic housing management tasks, ensuring all duties align with best practices and regulations.
  • Handle customer concerns efficiently, providing professional support and solutions.
  • Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard by liaising with relevant teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records, following internal policies and procedures.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in housing management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to assess customer needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Good knowledge of housing regulations, policies, and tenancy management.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in housing management, customer service, or a similar role (qualifications desirable but not essential).
  • Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.K.
