Occupational Therapist

Job description

With the support of the Children's OT team, you will work with children and their families and carers who require social care services. You will assess functional independence, manual handling and environmental access needs, managing risk to ensure safety in line with local authority and statutory policy and guidance.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external partners and providers across the service to ensure best outcomes for service users.

North Somerset Council adopts a hybrid approach to working, you will be a car driver and will be able to work from an office base, at home or with children and families in their home, school or short break environment as needed.
