Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to join the dynamic Adult Mental Health and Wellness Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective functioning of the mental health services. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in healthcare administration, team management, and a commitment to improving mental health outcomes for adults.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with the leadership team to implement and execute strategic initiatives in line with the organisation's vision and goals.
  • Providing support and assistance to the leadership in decision-making processes, ensuring the smooth operation of the mental health and wellness team.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the adult mental health and wellness team.
  • Managing and leading a team of clinicians, therapists, and administrative staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conducting regular team meetings to facilitate communication, address challenges, and ensure a high level of team engagement.
  • Monitoring and managing the budget for the mental health practice, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial sustainability.
  • Working closely with finance and administration teams to track expenses, prepare reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure that mental health services comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of interventions and treatments, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a mental health or healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult mental health issues and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the mental health field.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
