Quality of practice Senior practitioner

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Head of Service for practice quality and improvement to drive forward the quality assurance framework across children social care and wider children services.
• Managing and co-ordinating quality assurance activity and across the directorate and provide specialist support and advice to the relevant managers.
• Undertaking audit and moderation activity and deliver on audit reports such as child journey audits.
• Supporting the development of improvement plans based on findings from quality assurance activity and provide assurance that those plans are being implemented effectively and leading to improvement.
• Supporting, developing and delivering training where required to ensure managers and senior school staff have the skills, knowledge and understanding to undertake quality assurance activity.

Requirements:

• Relevant Social Care qualification.
• Experience in a similar role, with a focus on child and family services.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
