Working as a Residential Children’s Home Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference for young people in care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Using your experience to lead a team which encourages children to develop a positive sense of self and ensure that professional standards are maintained to a high level.
- Supporting your team to provide trauma-informed nurturing care for each child.
- Providing effective support to staff, including advice and guidance, reflective supervision and annual appraisal.
- Working in partnership with young people, their family and friends, colleagues, and other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for each child in your care.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a smooth transition when a young person leaves care.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing a residential children’s home.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, children’s rights, and trauma-informed care.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
