Role Overview:

As a Housing Review Officer, you will play a crucial role in conducting thorough reviews and making well-informed decisions in accordance with housing legislation. Your experience and expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the fair and lawful resolution of cases under section 202 of the Housing Act.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive and meticulous enquiries into housing-related matters, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.

- Utilize your practical knowledge of housing law to make sound and well-reasoned decisions, contributing to the effective resolution of cases.

- Interact and collaborate with solicitors and other advocates representing clients seeking reviews under section 202 of the Housing Act.

- Provide clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, to all stakeholders involved in the review process.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant housing legislation, ensuring compliance and best practices in all aspects of your role.

Experience and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Proven experience in conducting robust enquiries within the field of housing.

- Demonstrated expertise in making informed decisions in line with housing legislation.

- A track record of effectively engaging with solicitors and advocates involved in the review process.

- In-depth knowledge of section 202 of the Housing Act and related legislation.

- Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders.
