We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Substance Misuse Team Leader to join a service in Doncaster. As a vital member of a Senior Management Team, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and management to the groupwork and early intervention teams, while supporting the overall development of practice across the service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing effective leadership and management to staff within the groupwork and early intervention teams.
- Collaborating with the Senior Management Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of service users.
- Supporting the development and implementation of evidence-based practice and interventions within the service.
- Acting as a role model for best practice, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Overseeing the delivery of accredited qualifications and support the professional development of staff.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in the substance misuse field, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of issues related to substance use and addiction.
- A relevant degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or a Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualifications.
- Level 3 Substance Misuse qualification.
- ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, service users, and external partners.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
