We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to a dedicated team at Bruntsfield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, including routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Performing a variety of surgical procedures, including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries, with precision and care.
- Educating pet owners on their pets' health, treatment options, and preventive care. #
- Building strong relationships with clients through clear and empathetic communication.
- Working closely with our veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of clinic protocols.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
- Providing emergency care as needed, including out-of-hours services if applicable.
Requirements:
- Veterinary Degree (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Surgeon.
- Proficiency in clinical diagnostics and surgical techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to the well-being of animals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
