Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to a dedicated team at Stockbridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, including routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Performing a variety of surgical procedures, including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries, with precision and care.
• Educating pet owners on their pets' health, treatment options, and preventive care. #
• Building strong relationships with clients through clear and empathetic communication.
• Working closely with our veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of clinic protocols.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
• Providing emergency care as needed, including out-of-hours services if applicable.

Requirements:

• Veterinary Degree (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Surgeon.
• Proficiency in clinical diagnostics and surgical techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to the well-being of animals.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
