Children Social Worker: Assessment Team

Archer Resourcing have a great new position for a Social Worker to join the assessment team in South Nottinghamshire.

Working on the Children’s Assessment team, you will be working with children and their families/carers. You will be responsible for planning and leading assessments of strengths and resilience, as well as vulnerabilities, developmental needs, and risks. Working with children and their families, you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your workload independently.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working in accordance with the Nottinghamshire practice framework
• Planning and leading inclusive assessments of strengths and resilience as well as vulnerabilities, developmental needs, and risks
• Maintaining timely, accurate and clear written records, as well as writing reports and other documents as and when needed
• Working effectively with children, their families, and colleagues from a range of different agencies to plan, coordinate and review outcome focused plans
• Participation in team activities e.g., team meetings, case discussion, review of teamwork
• Taking up opportunities for relevant training and development

Requirements:

• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS. Dated within the last 12 months- on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
• Hold a full UK licence, as well as access to own vehicle
• Past experience in a similar role
