Mental Health Social Worker

Are you an experienced mental health social worker with community experience looking for your next role? Archer Resourcing has an excellent opportunity in West London to join the CMHT team.

You must have experience of working with Adults with Mental health and ideally have experience of working with mood disorders. The CMHT team are looking for someone to join on a long term contract with the option of remote working.

Responsibilities:

• Using legislation, guidance and reflective social work practice to ensure that key concepts and theories in social work are utilized to ensure the best possible outcomes for vulnerable adults.
• Using local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that uphold autonomy whilst recognizing the social work role for safe intervention
• Ensuring assessments are accurate and service users are able to self-direct the assessment process and make informed decisions
• Playing a role within a range of multi-agency teams to ensure co-ordinated, appropriate assessments and support that remain person-centred and enable users to maintain their independence
• Providing users with appropriate levels of support whilst further ensuring that the user and council receive best value for money and that services

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months- on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
• Degree relevant and approved by SWE (Social Work England)
• Valid SWE registration
• Full U.K driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
