Archer Resourcing have a great Safeguarding Social Worker position available in Bolton.
As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will be offering support and intervention to those who need it most, in order to sustain positive change. The successful candidate will be given all necessary training, help and advice, to allow them reach their full potential as a Social Worker.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing assessments of children and their families, utilising the Assessment Framework.
- Working directly with service users, employing a range of Social Work knowledge, skills, methods, and techniques.
- Assessing, evaluating, and reviewing programmes of work with service users, including the coordination and organisation of services both within and outside the Department.
- Working with Legal Services and Courts, including the production of reports within agreed timescales.
- Contributing to the planning and development of the Team’s and the Department’s services to children and families, as and when required.
- Providing professional knowledge, ideas, advice, evaluation and information to assist in the Department’s planning and development activities, as well as contributing to policies and standards.
- Planning, implementing and reviewing care plans for looked after children to ensure permanence plans are in place.
- Visiting children and their families within the guidelines of the Departments policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Registration with Social Work England
- Must be willing to undertake training as and when necessary to develop knowledge and skills
- Must hold a full, valid driving licence and own a vehicle with a current valid MOT certificate
- Experience of working with children and families
