Senior Children’s Social Worker

Archer Resourcing have a brand-new Senior Children’s Social Worker position available in Slough.

The team in Slough are looking for a Senior Children’s Social worker to join their team to start to bring positive changes and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Undertake court proceedings & carry caseloads.
• Carry out stringent assessment and presenting reports to panel.
• Always ensure that you work with a commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• To develop realistic and achievable action plans and trajectories, to measure the progress made by the child/young person towards their wellbeing goals.

Requirements:

• Have obtained a degree in Social Work/ Diploma in Social Work/ CQSW and not newly qualified approved by SWE
• Have knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks; policy and procedure; and best practice.
• Have proficient IT skills.
• Have a high level of determination, organisations skills, personal drive, energy, and ambition to achieve challenging targets and improve outcomes
• Demonstrate sound assessment and case management skills
