Social Work Assistant

Archer Resourcing have an exciting new position for a Social Work Assistant to join the assessment team in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire County Council are looking for a dedicated Social Worker Assistant to join their assessment team. The ideal candidate would have past experience, as well as having kind, thoughtful and hardworking characteristics. If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities include, but isn’t limited to:

• Helping Social Workers respond to referrals which are received by the MASH team
• Assisting Social Workers when carrying out Child and Family Assessments, as well as responding to enquiries to determine whether a child is in need of specialist support from children’s social care
• Keeping records, writing reports and co-working cases with qualified social workers

Requirements:

• Relevant experience
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
