Social Work Assistant

Job description

As a Social Work Assistant, you will be supporting qualified Social Workers in helping, advising and protecting a wide range of vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Helping Social Workers respond to referrals which are received by the MASH team
  • Assisting Social Workers when carrying out Assessments
  • Keeping records, writing reports and co-working cases with qualified social workers
  • Keeping records and writing reports
  • Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6months+ relevant experience
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • DBS dated within the last 12 months - on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
