Social Worker: Adolescent Support Team

Archer Resourcing have a great opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Adolescent Support Team in Kent.

Working within the Adolescent Support Team, you will deliver and improve services for young people in need. The successful candidate will join the hard-working team to ensure that young people and their families are receiving adequate support in order for them to achieve the best possible outcome.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage a Children & Families caseload which include complex and diverse cases, in line with the standards set out in the Social Care Capability Framework
• Initiate and develop close working partnerships with statutory agencies, voluntary and private sector agencies, carers, and those with parental responsibility in order to facilitate positive outcomes for children and their families
• Advocate for the rights of young people, carers and families as detailed in current legislation
• Complete effective and timely recording of accurate information using agreed systems
• Maintain a good working knowledge of legislation, local policies, and procedures, acting in line with these to ensure consistency and a high quality of service delivery

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Registration with Social Work England
• Good interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively
• Social work experience with adolescents and their families
• Knowledge of legislation, policies, frameworks, and regulations in relation to children in need and looked after children
