Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting remote assessments to evaluate and diagnose ADHD in individuals across different age groups.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to gather comprehensive patient histories and relevant information.
- Developing and implementing individualised care plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
- Providing guidance and support to patients, families, and caregivers in managing ADHD symptoms effectively.
- Working closely with healthcare providers to manage medication regimes, monitor side effects, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on medication administration and potential interactions.
- Offering comprehensive education on ADHD, its symptoms, and coping strategies to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Promoting awareness and understanding of ADHD within the community through virtual workshops and informational sessions.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintaining clear and timely communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration in the UK.
- Specialisation or additional training in ADHD care and management.
- Proven experience in assessing and diagnosing ADHD across different age groups.
- Familiarity with remote healthcare delivery and telehealth platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
