Clinical Manager

Job description

As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing clinical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. You will play a key role in developing and implementing clinical policies, optimising processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, supervising, and supporting a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and support staff.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Developing and implementing clinical protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and evaluating clinical performance, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in care delivery.
  • Conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to clinical standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Ensuring that clinical documentation and records are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained in accordance with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Staying current with advancements in clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or relevant clinical qualification with current registration.
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership or management role, ideally within a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical situations and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and fostering a positive work environment.
