Clinical Practice Manager

Job description

Working as a Clinical Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of clinical services within the healthcare facility. You will ensure that high-quality patient care is provided, support clinical staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing clinical staff, including nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative personnel, ensuring efficient operations and a positive working environment.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of patient care is delivered by adhering to clinical best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Continuously monitoring patient outcomes and developing strategies for improvement.
  • Organising and overseeing staff training, development, and performance appraisals.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the clinical team.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinical practice.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Conducting regular clinical audits to assess compliance with clinical guidelines and performance targets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Professional healthcare registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC) or equivalent clinical qualification.
  • Proven experience in clinical management or leadership roles in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and healthcare compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
