As a Construction Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality construction education and training to students, preparing them for successful careers in the field.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and delivering engaging and effective construction-related courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Designing and implementing lesson plans that incorporate hands-on learning experiences to enhance students' practical skills.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Monitoring student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to address individual learning needs.
- Conducting practical demonstrations and workshops to reinforce theoretical concepts and facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
- Supervising and guiding students during practical activities, emphasising safety and best practices in the construction industry.
- Developing and administering assessments to measure students' understanding and mastery of construction concepts.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and assessments.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification.
- Proven experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Knowledge of relevant software tools and technologies used in the construction sector.
