We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a dynamic team in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ teaching experience, with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons. This role is crucial in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners, fostering both academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the national curriculum standards for KS1, tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on the academic progress and development of each student, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and respect, managing behaviour effectively.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of students, participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Committing to ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- At least two years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably within KS1.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment strategies, with a commitment to inclusive education and the ability to differentiate instruction.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching, with a passion for fostering a love of learning in children.
