We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a dedicated team in Kent. This is a permanent position, suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators, who are passionate about inspiring and nurturing young minds.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement, curiosity, and independent learning.
- Assessing student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, resources, and assessments.
- Establishing and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering open communication and partnership in education.
- Maintaining accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour, and use data to inform teaching and learning.
- Supporting the holistic development of students, including their social, emotional, and cultural understanding.
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management.
- Engaging in ongoing reflection and professional growth to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a focus on Year 5.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Enthusiasm for incorporating technology into the classroom.
