We are seeking an experienced and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a dedicated team in Hampshire. This is a permanent position, suitable for educators who have a passion for teaching Key Stage 2 students and a proven track record of success in this area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and challenging lessons for Key Stage 2 students, ensuring that they are appropriately differentiated to meet the needs of all learners.
- Using a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Assessing student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, schemes of work, and assessment frameworks for Key Stage 2.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for development, maintaining strong partnerships between home and school.
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required, contributing to the wider life of the school community.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including those related to behaviour management, safeguarding, and health and safety.
- Engaging in reflective practice and continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and improve student outcomes.
- Upholding high standards of professionalism, ethics, and conduct at all times, acting as a positive role model for students and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A minimum of two years' experience teaching Key Stage 2 students is preferred.
- Proven expertise in planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
