Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safeguarding children and young people.
- Contributing creatively to the everyday running of the centre.
- Ensuring correct procedures are followed in relation to security, incident or accident.
- Contributing to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Working as part of a dedicated team, ensuring the development of an environment that provides high standards of emotional, social and physical care and support to children.
- Developing effective communication skills with parents/carers and colleagues.
- Observing each child’s progress and use the information gained to inform next steps, create learning journeys and inform achievement.
- Contributing to and working as part of a highly motivated and professional team, taking on key worker responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children aged 2 to 5 in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for creating a positive and supportive learning environment for young children.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.

*This position is preferably 5 days a week, 40 hours with shifts between 8am and 6pm
