We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our primary school community. This position is for an immediate start for the current term, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and care to our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for children aged 3-5 years old, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Implement effective observation and assessment strategies to track children's progress and inform planning.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other staff members to provide a holistic and inclusive approach to learning.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's progress and encouraging parental involvement in their learning journey.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in accordance with school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Early Years settings.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and experience in implementing play-based learning approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity and flexibility in planning and delivering engaging learning experiences that cater to the individual needs and interests of children.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching and learning.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
