Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Psychological Assessments:
- Utilise your expertise to identify and evaluate students with special educational needs remotely.
- Design and implement effective interventions to support their educational journey.
- Collaborate with Schools and Teachers:
- Work closely with schools and teachers to develop strategies for improving student behaviour and enhancing academic performance.
- Provide remote support to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Educate and Support Teachers and Parents:
- Offer remote education and psychological support to teachers and parents, helping them develop essential skills.
- Assist in managing challenging behavioyr and overcoming learning difficulties.
- Critical Incident Debriefings:
- Conduct post-incident debriefings remotely to provide psychological support following critical incidents.
- Policy Implementation and Support:
- Advise and support schools in the remote implementation of policies, guidelines, and government regulations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and present research data remotely to relevant stakeholders.
- Engage in the evaluation of educational provision to enhance student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Hold a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from a recognized university.
- Professional Registration:
- Full registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience:
- Possess at least 5 years of remote experience in Educational Psychology.
- Expertise:
- Exceptional knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, behavioural issues, and teaching strategies.
- Skills:
- Demonstrate outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and remote report-writing skills.
- Legal and Policy Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the law, legislation, and policy guidance related to education in the UK.
