We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grade 8 Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team in Cleveleys. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to clients, focusing on enhancing their ability to perform daily activities and improving their quality of life. This role involves working with clients of all ages with various physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough assessments of clients' physical, mental, and environmental needs.
- Developing and implementing personalised therapy plans to enhance clients' daily living and work skills.
- Utilising a range of therapeutic techniques and tools to support client rehabilitation and independence.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to deliver holistic care.
- Participating in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to clients and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Preparing detailed reports on client progress and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Occupation Therapy Degree.
- Registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
- Significant experience in occupational therapy.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and treat a diverse client population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload independently.
