Job description
Working as the Head of Therapies, you will be accountable for the delivery and governance of a therapy service by assessing, implementing and evaluating programmes of personalised rehabilitation and care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading ,motivating and managing the therapy team.
- Implementing evidence based practice, ensuring effective service provision and positive outcomes.
- Ensuring appropriate provision and maintenance of equipment.
- Sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members through formal and informal teaching within the therapy team.
- Continuously developing team knowledge and expanding clinical/rehabilitation skills and effectiveness.
- Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service.
Requirements:
- BSc degree level qualification in either Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Management degree or equivalent experience.
- Registration with Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
- Post registration training in a relevant speciality.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
