Job description
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to paediatric patients during Saturday shifts, supporting their communication and swallowing needs through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication needs for children.
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans.
- Monitoring progress and adapting interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Working closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Offering advice and strategies to parents/carers to support therapy goals at home.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Proven experience in paediatric speech and language therapy.
- Ability to work independently and within a locum framework.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
