We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive, specialist neurorehabilitation setting.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and experienced multi-disciplinary team including physiotherapists, OTs, nurses, psychologists, and rehabilitation assistants—all working together to deliver person-centred care that truly transforms lives.

Your Role

As a Band 6 SLT, your contributions will include:

  • Providing specialist assessment and therapy for adults with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Delivering tailored rehabilitation programmes across both one-to-one and group settings.
  • Supporting patients across various pathways including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative conditions.
  • Contributing to outpatient services and supporting community reintegration.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans under the supervision and support of senior clinicians.
  • Offering education and practical guidance to families, carers, and staff on communication and dysphagia management.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Membership with RCSLT.
  • Clinical experience in adult neurorehabilitation or acute neurology.
  • Motivation, empathy, and a commitment to empowering clients with complex needs.
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
