Your Role

As our Speech and Language Therapy Lead, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals with a wide range of communication, swallowing, and cognitive challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the assessment and management of adults with acquired and progressive neurological conditions.
• Providing expert guidance on complex cases related to dysphagia, cognitive communication, and voice.
• Supporting and mentoring a skilled team of SLTs, promoting clinical excellence across the service.
• Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure joined-up, person-centred care.
• Delivering training and support to families, carers, and staff to empower those around each client.
• Contributing to service development and strategic planning alongside the senior leadership team.

Who You Are

• A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration and RCSLT membership.
• A confident clinician with experience in neurorehabilitation and complex case management.
• Skilled in both communication and dysphagia interventions, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
• Committed to lifelong learning, with a portfolio of relevant postgraduate training and CPD.
• An inspiring team player with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passionate about delivering person-centred care in a diverse and dynamic environment.
