Mental Health Nurse

We have a great opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to join a culturally tailored Medicine Support Service in Manchester and Trafford. This role is dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive medicine management support to individuals with severe mental illness (SMI), with a specific focus on the Caribbean, African, and South Asian communities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and managing centralised hub operations for the Medicine Support Service.
• Providing expert care in medicine management while maintaining clinical supervision standards.
• Conducting outreach within the Manchester and Trafford areas to ensure the service is accessible and inclusive.
• Managing clinical incidents and safeguarding concerns with professionalism and adherence to best practices.
• Delivering training sessions and offering mentorship across diverse healthcare environments to promote excellence in mental health care.

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (MHN) with valid NMC registration.
• Strong knowledge of medicine management practices and experience working with culturally sensitive care models.
• A genuine passion for improving mental health outcomes for diverse communities.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
