Nursery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a dedicated team on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing high-quality care and support in a nurturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their overall development and well-being.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the day-to-day care and supervision of children.
• Supporting the implementation of a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum.
• Engaging children in educational and recreational activities to encourage their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Providing regular feedback on children's progress and development to parents and colleagues.
• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure the individual needs of each child are met.

Requirements:

• Childcare qualification.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• A passion for working with children and a genuine desire to contribute to their growth and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of child development principles.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
