Occupational Therapist

Job description

Working as an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and producing detailed reports. Enjoy competitive pay rates and mileage reimbursement while making a difference in children's lives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children within the community.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to determine the needs and progress of each child.
  • Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans based on assessment findings.
  • Preparing detailed and accurate reports following each assessment.
  • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and client progress.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with children in a community setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (mileage paid at £0.45 per mile).
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.

Notes:

Department: Community - Children

Contract: Locum ADHOC - 9 am – 5 pm

Shift Pattern: 09:00 – 5:00 pm

Pay: £38 - £40 Per Hour (Therapy) + an additional £200 - £220 Per Assessment + Report
