Occupational Therapist

Working in the Occupational Therapy Team, you will be supporting individuals with disabilities, helping them improve their quality of life and achieve maximum independence in their home environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with adults with complex physical disabilities, focusing on enhancing their independence.
• Assessing needs and providing specialist equipment and adaptations.
• Implementing up-to-date moving and handling techniques.
• Preparing and executing care plans in accordance with current legislation.
• Maintaining accurate records and utilising IT systems effectively.
• Collaborating with professionals from partner agencies to ensure integrated care.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Significant experience in working with adults with complex physical disabilities.
• Expertise in the provision of equipment and major adaptations.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility with partner agencies.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
