Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join a committed team in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with a variety of conditions. This role involves assessing patients, developing personalised treatment plans, and promoting overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories.
  • Developing individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Utilising a variety of physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy.
  • Monitoring and documenting patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educating patients and their families about conditions and the importance of compliance with treatment plans.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Preparing reports and documentation for referrals and follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience working as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Experience in treating a range of conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using physiotherapy equipment and technology.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patients' needs.
  • Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
