We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join a dedicated healthcare team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support patient care. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of imaging procedures, interpreting images, and assisting medical professionals in diagnosing various medical conditions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing diagnostic radiographic examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Providing accurate, high-quality images of the body to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Positioning patients correctly for imaging procedures, considering their medical conditions and requirements.
- Explaining imaging procedures to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborating with medical professionals to interpret and review images and diagnostic results.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in line with health and safety regulations.
- Staying up to date with new developments in radiography and medical imaging technology.
Requirements:
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration.
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiography, preferably within a hospital or clinical environment.
- Familiarity with a range of imaging equipment, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI.
- Excellent understanding of radiation safety protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
