Registered General Nurse

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join the Neuro Rehabilitation Unit in Hothfield. As a crucial member of a multidisciplinary team, you will be playing a pivotal role in providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from neurological conditions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and psychological needs.
• Developing and implementing individualised care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and providing skilled nursing interventions as required.
• Utilising your neuro-specific knowledge to contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based care protocols.
• Working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Communicating effectively with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Nursing Degree with NMC registration.
• Previous experience in neuro rehabilitation or a related specialty is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
