Substance Misuse Nurse

Archer Resourcing have a great new opportunity for a dedicated Substance Misuse Nurse to join the team in Manchester.

If you are a supportive individual who is looking to provide care for vulnerable individuals in order to aid their recovery, then this role could be for you. The hard-working team in Manchester are looking for a passionate individual to help them to provide individualised clinical support to service users, allowing them to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

• Conduct assessments of physical dependency
• Have an up to date understanding of the areas Public Health needs
• Understanding physical and mental health assessments
• Meeting the needs of your patients through specific training or service provision
• Creating and developing care plans for individuals that are person-centred and individualised based on the individuals needs and circumstances
• Supporting the management of alcohol and opiate community detoxifications

Requirements:

• Have proven record of working within the Mental Health sector or appropriate placements during training
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• An active NMC registration
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months - on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
• Have the ability to deliver a range of services/treatments/interventions in a person centred and non-judgemental approach
• Experience in managing a caseload of patients with complex needs
• You as an individual are adaptable and are able to work in a challenging environment
