Substance Misuse Recovery Worker

As a Recovery worker, your role will include working with clients to provide counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, as well as advocacy.

Required skills:

• Experience of working with people affected by substance use and/or homelessness
• Ability to work under pressure
• Effective time management skills
• Respectful, enthusiastic, and empathetic
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS. Dated within the last 12 months- on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
• 1+ years’ experience as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
