Substance Misuse Recovery Worker

Working as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker you will be playing a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable individuals on their journey to recovery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' substance misuse history, mental health, and social circumstances.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalised recovery plans, setting achievable goals and milestones.
• Offering emotional and practical support, helping individuals navigate challenges and develop coping mechanisms.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Participating in community outreach programs to raise awareness and prevent substance misuse.
• Responding promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and coordinating appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months - on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
• Caseload management experience
• Direct drug and alcohol experience with service users.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
