ADHD Adult Clinical Psychologist

Job description

We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating adult ADHD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients navigating the challenges of ADHD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose ADHD and related disorders in adults.
  • Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans based on client needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including CBT and mindfulness-based strategies.
  • Monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in ADHD research and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Psychology degree.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing and treating adult ADHD.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital tools for delivering remote therapy.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
