We are seeking a skilled and experienced ADOS-2 Assessor to join a dedicated team on a freelance locum basis. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home while conducting Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) assessments. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children and adults. You will conduct two ADOS-2 assessments per day and provide detailed, anonymised reports based on your findings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing thorough, standardised ADOS-2 assessments remotely to evaluate individuals for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Producing accurate and detailed anonymous reports following each assessment.
- Ensuring reports adhere to the highest standards of diagnostic clarity and confidentiality.
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, etc.) to support comprehensive diagnostic processes.
- Ensuring all data, assessments, and reports are handled with strict confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Managing a caseload of 2 assessments per day, ensuring high-quality service delivery within agreed timelines.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid certification in administering and interpreting the ADOS-2 assessment.
- Demonstrable experience conducting ADOS-2 assessments for children or adults.
- Proven ability to write comprehensive and clear diagnostic reports.
- Experience redacting or anonymising sensitive client information.
- A background in psychology, psychiatry, or a related mental health profession.
- Familiarity with using telehealth platforms or other virtual assessment tools.
- Ability to navigate remote working environments effectively.
