Job description
We are seeking a qualified ASD Developmental History Clinician to work remotely as a Freelance Locum. This role focuses on conducting developmental history assessments for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will gather key developmental information to contribute to comprehensive ASD assessments. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose a full (5 days) or part-time (3 days) schedule.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting remote developmental history (DH) assessments for individuals undergoing ASD evaluations.
- Collecting detailed developmental, medical, and behavioural information through structured interviews with parents or caregivers.
- Completing DH sessions accurately, documenting all findings in a clear and professional manner.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in the ASD assessment process, contributing to the diagnostic outcome.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ASD, relevant assessment tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- ADOS-2 training certification is essential.
- Previous experience conducting developmental history assessments, especially for ASD, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct interviews in a sensitive and empathetic manner.
- Proficient with telehealth systems and comfortable with remote working.
- Ability to work independently while following team protocols.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
