Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Children's Autism Assessor to join the team. The ideal candidate will conduct diagnostic assessments within autism remotely, with a focus on delivering accurate evaluations and comprehensive reports. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of children in need.

Requirements:

  • Conducting remote diagnostic assessments within autism for children.
  • Administering assessments efficiently and effectively, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
  • Generating detailed and insightful reports based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for children and their families.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all assessment processes.
  • Keeping abreast of best practices and developments in the field of autism assessment and intervention.
  • Communicating assessment results clearly and compassionately to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Must have ADOS-2 and ADI-R or 3Di Training.
  • Core qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in conducting diagnostic assessments within autism.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to accommodate potential variations in assessment workload.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.

Notes:

  • Department: Children
  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday (fully remote working)
  • Pay: £325 - £350 per assessment + report (approximately 3-4 hours per assessment, with the possibility of 1 / 2+ assessments per day)
