Job description
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join a dedicated team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will have expertise in conducting assessments for ADHD and ASD. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring one day in-person in Oxford and two days of remote work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments for children and adults with ADHD and ASD.
- Gathering information through screening, developmental history, observation, and feedback sessions.
- Preparing detailed psychological reports based on assessment findings.
- Utilising ADOS-2 for assessments and incorporate QB checks as part of the evaluation process.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to discuss assessment outcomes and recommendations.
- Providing feedback to clients and their families in an empathetic and clear manner.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration.
- Proven experience in ADHD and ASD assessments, including screening and report writing.
- Training in ADOS-2 and hands-on experience with QB checks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
