Criminal Justice Recovery Worker

Working as a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will be providing community support and outreach services to individuals facing substance misuse.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing effective professional relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Working effectively with prison teams and prescribers to ensure an offender’s smooth transition into the community.
• Delivering criminal justice interventions.
• Working flexibly to promote harm reduction.
• Accurately maintaining a client management system.
• Recognising personal and professional boundaries.
• Maintaining accurate, up to date records.
• Delivering programs and packages of group work and 1 to 1 work focusing on recovery.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in working with and supporting vulnerable individuals.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of Criminal Justice services and interventions.
• An excellent understanding of the issues substance misusers are facing.
• Full driving license or willingness to commute.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
